BOBBY GRIMES | President|
Bobby grew up in the piping trade, and along the way, gained the respect of his fellow employees and an extensive portfolio of clients. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Finance & Accounting, he has become well prepared for the task of becoming an executive in the daily operations of A&G Piping, Inc.
Bobby has served as President of Mechanical Contractors Association of Fort Worth and of MCATexas. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Texas. He has completed both sessions of the Project Management Institute conducted by the MCAA. The reins of the company began to be turned over to the new generation with the official appointment of Bobby Grimes as President in 2006.
TRACY AUEN | Vice President|
Tracy has been with A&G Piping, Inc. for more than 10 years first working under his father, Walt Auen, while learning the trade. Tracy is currently learning the project management side of the business and working towards his Master Plumber license. Tracy works closely with customers to ensure on-time project completion while maintaining the customerís budget expectations.
KEN TROTTER | Estimator, Project Manager|
Ken has a diverse background in the construction industry; from architecture to process piping, project management and design services to hands on installation, including 11 years working in the industrial sector. This diverse experience brings a unique and balanced perspective to projects with A&G Piping, Inc. and provides a valuable service to our clients.
Since graduating from Dallas County College, Ken has worked his way up to Project Management and performs marketing, estimating and design services in addition to his project manager duties.
RAY LOUTHAN | Estimator, Project Manager|
Ray has extensive knowledge in the mechanical trade having become a certified welder more than 30 years ago. Since that time he has served as project manager and design engineer for projects of all sizes. He has experience in a variety of applications and environments. Having worked in all phases of the mechanical construction process during that time enables Ray to address unique issues for our customers. The years of experience combined with his BS in Mechanical Engineering is an asset to A&G Piping, Inc. and our customers.
JOE MORGAN | Estimator, Project Manager|
Joe entered the mechanical/industrial piping industry in the DFW Metroplex in 1993 where he became a journeyman pipefitter and certified welder. He has worked his way up through the ranks into the position of Estimator and Project Manager. Joe has held this title since 2004 at some well-known and respected local companies gaining a diverse background in the industry. Joe began at A&G Piping, Inc. in 2010 and has used his hands on field installation background as an asset to A&G Piping, Inc. as well as current and prospective new customers. Joe is very customer oriented and looks forward to assisting with your mechanical and industrial project requirements.
STEVE BLACKMAN | Estimator, Project Manager|
Steve followed his fatherís footsteps into the mechanical/industrial contracting business in 1982. Since
that time, he has worked for several of the major local mechanical/industrial contractors and has held
a variety of positions including; project estimating/budgeting, project management, and business
development. He has attended several FMI sessions for project management and leadership. He is a
licensed HVAC contractor as well as a licensed Journeyman plumber. Steve is certified by the Green
Building Council as a LEED accredited professional and is a NATE certified Ground Source Heat Pump
Steveís passion, after his wife and kids, is music. He loves all types of music and plays bass guitar as well
as shares lead singer roles in a family band. In the last several years he has sung with, and continues to
support, Schola Cantorum of Texas.
Steve loves the challenges of the industrial contracting business and looks forward to completing the
next new project - whatever that might be.
BARRY NEWMAN | Interior Project Manager|
Barry attended the Carpenter Apprentice school from 1975-79 and continued his education by taking Dale Carnegie classes on public speaking and building relationships in the workforce. Along the way, Barry has had numerous Construction Learning Classes and Conferences (thru AIA of Dallas and Performance Contracting Employee Development).
Barry started his career in cleanroom construction for Texas Instruments and went on to become a part owner in Lasco Cleanroom Services, Inc. where he was project manager. He joined Performance Contracting as Senior Estimator and Project Superintendent in 2000, before joining A&G Piping, Inc. in 2009 and starting the Interior Construction Division.
DAVID HOPKINS | Interior Project Superintendent|
David trained and graduated from the Carpenters Apprentice program in Bakersfield, CA. in 1989. With more than 27 years in the industry David has an extensive background in interior systems and cleanroom construction. From 1996 to 2006 David was a certified IBC/IRC Building Inspector 1. David Graduated the UBC Superintendent Training Program in 2008, and received OSHA 30 training that same year. While working full time, David was able to recently obtain a Certificate of Completion and an AAS in Construction Management. Davidís years of experience and knowledge of the industry have made him a valuable asset to the Interior Construction Division.
